This month we congratulate Jair Carlos, as the recipient of ELYON’s annual scholarship to Latino students. Jair plans to study engineering at Washington State University (Go, Cougs!)

Among the many forms of community engagement and support that ELYON participates in, is our annual scholarship to Latino students. For the past 11 years ELYON has sponsored scholarships in partnership with the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber of Oregon and SW Washington. The students ELYON sponsors all choose University / College STEM study programs. The universities that participate in this program match funds of donor companies, so that with ELYON’s donation of $2000, this provides Jair a total of $4000 towards his college education.
